The deal, in writing.

We run a network of Australian local-service directory sites. People use them to find a trade and ask to be connected. We pass their name, mobile and area to local businesses by SMS.

We are a connection service. The quote, the job and the money for the work are strictly between the business and the customer. We are not a party to the work, we do not take a cut of it, and we do not guarantee how many enquiries any area produces.

The network is operated by an Australian business. ABN available on request.

We send local businesses real jobs by SMS at no cost. Free jobs are capped per month per business (we set and can adjust the cap) and flow when no member covers the area or as overflow. No card, no account, no obligation.

The first message ever sent to a business says who we are and that STOP opts out. We can withdraw the free tier from a number that never responds to jobs or misuses them.

Membership is $49 a month at the founding rate, GST inclusive, per trade and per region. The founding rate holds while your membership stays active. The standard rate is $99 a month.

Members get: every lead in their areas the moment it lands with no cap, featured pinning and a badge on their trade's directory, display of their business across our other network sites in their region, and a monthly recap listing what they received.

We cap membership at 3 members per trade in each region. Leads are shared with at most 2 other local members. We do not sell exclusivity, and no one at NearMe will promise a lead went only to you.

Cancel anytime by text or email. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period and you keep your benefits until then. No lock-in contracts, no cancellation fees.

All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. You receive a receipt that serves as a tax invoice for each payment. While the network is founding, membership is activated manually after you apply, there is no self-serve checkout.

A lead is a real person who asked for your trade in your area and left a name and a valid Australian mobile. Page views, clicks and anything without a name and mobile are not leads and never count.

Calling the lead back is your job. A lead that did not answer or chose another quote is still a lead.

Wrong numbers, spam, duplicates and jobs outside the areas you gave us do not count. Report one by replying to the lead text or emailing us. We check the records and strike it.

If a member's month is materially degraded by junk we credit the month or extend the membership. We would rather credit a bad lead than argue with a member about it.

Every SMS we send identifies us. Reply STOP to any message and the number is suppressed permanently across the network before any future send. That right cannot be waived by any other clause in these terms.

Do not resell, publish or share lead details with anyone outside your business. Do not scrape the directories. Do not use the network to send marketing that has nothing to do with the job you were sent. We can suspend an account that does, with a refund of any unused whole month.

External site owners can carry network ad units and earn a revenue share on qualifying leads generated from their pages (default 50 percent, tracked per site). Fraudulent or manufactured leads void the earnings involved. Payout method and threshold are agreed before the first payout.

Providers on the network are independent businesses. We do not supervise, endorse or warrant their work, and they do not act for us. Choose your tradie the way you would from any directory.

The service is provided as-is and we do not promise uninterrupted operation. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law. Where the law allows liability to be limited, ours is limited to the membership fees you paid in the 3 months before the claim.

We can update these terms. Material changes are flagged to members by SMS or email before they apply. The date at the top is the current version.

These terms are governed by the law of South Australia.
